For my birthday I had a great trip to the Kennedy Space Center on Cape Canaveral. This is my favorite place in the world, and I have been coming here annually since I can remember. I originally started coming here with my uncle Shrubs because he loved to share his love and appreciation for the science and beauty of outer space. He used to tell me stories about astronaut and rocket launches that he had visited in the late 1960’s. The space center is a great interactive and creative way to display the history and advancements of Nasa and my uncle was my personal guide because he knew just about everything about what we say there. After he passed, I continued to visit every year for my birthday because it is always a great place to cherish those memories and also feed my love for space that I got from my uncle. It is exciting learning about new advancements that are happening soon like the plan for humans to return to the moon on mission Artemis. I hope that I can watch that mission launch from cape Canaveral just like my uncle did in 1969 for the Apollo moon missions. This year during my visit just happened to be 50 th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing and it was such a unique and patriotic birthday vacation.
